Juniors' Section

Welcome to the Juniors Section of Chippenham Golf Club, a GOLFMARK club as awarded by the English Golf Union

Throughout the year we hold various competitions: medals/stapleford/ knockout, and also award the Burgess Cup, presented to the best performer throughout the main summer season.

Our league team currently play in the Wiltshire Junior League against surrounding clubs.

Regular training sessions are held by our resident professionals, Bill and Claire (one of the few lady assistants in Wiltshire) and one or other is always on hand to offer advice and guidance when a swing goes askew.

Our Junior Organiser is Denis O’Sullivan, assisted by a team of helpers, all of whom are dedicated to pass on their enthusiasm and enjoyment of the game. Their aim is to get as many youngsters out on the course, playing to the best of their ability, whilst improving and having fun with friends.

Please contact Denis at jo.chippenhamgolf@btconnect.com if you are interested in joining or want to find out more.

Based on the outskirts of Chippenham we are within easy reach of all youngsters wanting to take up the game.  Being a 15 minute walk from Sheldon/Hardenhuish Schools means that pupils attending these schools can be on the course by 3.30 and get a full round in for the bulk of British Summer Time.
